This lock was recommended by a friend because I have someone stalking me so I ordered it right away and she installed it for me. It seemed quite complicated to open the door and at first I couldn't get it open but got the hang of it. However, I was shocked to come home literally the following day and find that the person stalking me had worked his way back into my home! Apparently, once the door is locked, all the person has to do is turn that dial to the left and it will open the door WHILE ITS LOCKED AND WITHOUT THE KEY! I was so mad. I looked for a customer service number on the instruction sheet, there wasn't one. The friend who recommended the lock found a number for me to call and I called praying it was customer service [****] and some guys answers who sounds like he's in his car driving who barely spoke English! He told me to send him a video. I hung up the phone. This lock deserves it's name. Easilock! Easy to open after installation! Not worth a crap! I"m requesting my bank refund my money. This man could have killed me!
Fantastic quality
This is the second E2 Deadbolt I've purchased and it is the best constructed lock I've ever seen. Easy to install and I was also able to buy matching cores so all my locks share a common key.
Didn’t know what to expect since I’m usually a Medeco purchaser. I believe these units ship direct from China so the wait time can exceed 2 weeks. I installed this lock on a fresh door that was not prepped for a deadbolt. Unit itself appears to be top notch in the quality and operation. Upgraded keys are worth it if you’re concerned about people making copies without your knowledge. Dimple keying was a nice touch. The twist to lock function is easy to use and robust. Lockout features are a great addition that I have yet to see on other deadbolts. Highly recommended and will be purchasing again.
